Ken PooleKen Poole, was born in Alexandria, Virginia and moved to Florida in 1989. Ken graduated Cum Laude from the University of Florida in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science and minors in Agricultural Law and Agriculture and Natural Resource Ethics and Policy. In 2002, he was inducted as a member of the Florida Blue Key Honor Society. Ken continued his education at the University of Florida earning a Masters of Science in Business Administration in 2003 and in 2005 earned his law degree. During law school, Ken was awarded the Book Award in Trial Practice for his performance in the courtroom. While in Gainesville, Ken worked with the Office of the City Attorney, worked as a clerk with civil attorney, Dora Kerner, and worked in the juvenile division of the State Attorney’s Office for the 8th Judicial Circuit.

After graduation from law school, Ken relocated to Sarasota and worked as an Assistant State Attorney with the State Attorney’s Office of the 12th Judicial Circuit. During his time as a prosecutor, he worked in the misdemeanor, domestic violence, juvenile and felony divisions. Ken tried a wide range of cases in front of juries and judges with great success. His experience as a prosecutor offers clients a full perspective of the criminal justice system and their individual cases.
